Not far from where Sir Moses Montefiore's mansion was in Ramsgate (now a public park with no mention whatsoever of him), stands his private synagogue and the tomb of Sir Moses and his wife Judith Barent Cohen. One must know where to look, because there are no signs of these important landmarks on the main road in Ramsgate

Entrance to the park where Sir Moses Montefiore's mansion once was. Notice the small stars in the wrought iron gate. Must have been the custodian's cottage that has survived at the entrance of the park. It is now private property
