One of the first Holocaust movies dealt with Sefardic Shoah and featured Ladino. One can reproach Zvezdi/Sterne/Stars/Etoiles/Estreyas (1959) with anything but as we say in French ça a le mérite d'exister.

I am so, so proud to be presenting my first, family cookbook. It was a labor of love, full of ladino recipes, for the batmitzvah of my eldest Mati. https://www.facebook.com/photo.php?fbid=10155967834970124&set=a.10151159001350124&type=3&theater

My Greek great uncle did his bar mitsva in 1941 at the Sefardic oratory of Brussels. His father was shaliach tzibur and his grandfather hyd the Sefardic chief rabbi of Amsterdam. The first picture was saved from Kristallnacht in hamburg. The synagogue isn't sefardi anymore.

Those are very interesting auto biographies! You can find extracts and maybe even the text online.https://www.jstor.org/stable/j.ctt16gz9rmhttps://www.sup.org/books/title/?id=18553

Oncle Maurice Francès (Moshe ben David) a Vodena en 1924. Avec son père et sa sœur et je sais pas qui est l'autre monsieur juste à sa droite. Tonton Maurice est l'une des 86 personnes du Struthof.

My dear friends,I am happy to present my first novel to you (in French). It deals with finding oneself as a child or grandchild of war survivor, from the point of view of the new generations. The Ladino culture and language are heavily present in this book, for obvious reasons :)Thank you! Shalom !My Salonician grandmother remembers a recipe with milk skin. You would take it, sugar it and eat this. Anyone knew of this? Any recipe ? did it have a name in Ladino? Thank you!
