Good evening,My apologies, I am very new at this.I understand documents and records can be very scarce from that part of the world. It seems that one of my ancestors on my father’s side (before they moved to Algeria), may have been born in Tangier circa 1843 and was a merchant. His name was Joseph Ben Zaken (Benzaken/Benzaquen). He was married to Messaouda Ben Zaken, born Lahmani or Lamani. One of their children, Anaïs was born in Tetouan in 1881. I would appreciate your assistance.Thank you.
