After some research, I just read and found that the custom of organizing a Meldadura on Tu Bishbat has started in Amsterdam in the 19th century as a result of contacts between the Amsterdam Portuguese Community and her sister communities in Italy, especially the one of Livorno, where they used to organise Meldadure for some centuries on Tu Bishbat. In 1888 a Chebra was founded in Amsterdam called Perie Ngeets Hadar, who printed for the first time in Amsterdam a booklet under the same name. This Chebra existed until WWII and organised a Schoteltjesavond or Saucer Evening for her members. After the war the cultural committee of the PIG (Amsterdam Portuguese Community) reinstated the custom of organizing a Schoteltjesavond or Saucer Evening for al the members of the Esnoga.http://www.esnoga.com/phoenix/Phoenix%2020120210.pdf
