Hello again, I am now trying to establish with some more concrete evidence the line for Benvenida Mordechai Levy Montezinos b.1730 d.1790.I have found Oudekerk records that attest to the marriage between her father Mordechai Isaac Levy Montezinos b.1689 d.1785 to Judith de Jacob Falcaho (Falcao) daughter of Jacob Joseph Falcao and Benvenida Moses Rodrigues. Whilst it appears on the marriage record between Benvenida Mordechai Levy Montezinos and Aaron Isaac Senior Coronel that in fact Montezinos was not part of the name, I have checked with the Amsterdam archives and they have confirmed that she was Montezinos and so was her father, it was a clerical error to omit the Montezinos name. The name Levy in the Montezinos may have begun when the explorer and possible progenitor Antonio de Montezinos used Aharon levy as his Hebrew name and latterly conflated the two. I have not found any further proof except this article. I also attach an article where I found reference to the burial of Ester Aboab wife of Yshac Montezinos and his own burial. I also found a David Montezinos b.1623 who had a brother Isaac as his marriage witness from Huelva, Spain.
