Hello all. I posted this in a couple of other groups as I am casting a wide net to locate some family. We are Turkish Jews. My grandmother came to the US with her aunt and uncle, who assumed parenting her. She left her sister and other family members in Instabul, Balat area. The family names are: Behar, Benezra, Siva and Hara. I have been unable to find information further back than my great grandmother (who was really my great aunt). There were a lot of family secrets and not much information left behind, so I am trying piece it all together. I have been on ancestry.com, geni.com, researched on sephardicgen.com. I am stuck. Help?
