I visited the underground ruins of the ancient city of Barcelona, Spain, from the 1st to 4th century. Anybody can visit this museum where a lot of antique builds has been remaked. Very close of this underground place is the Old Synagogue inside the Call (jewish quarter). During the visit it's possible to see amazing walls and mosaics. In one of the corridors it is possible to find stones with inscriptions in Hebrew of those same centuries! I asked if there was any record of this and they told me that by then the Romans used to use any type of stone for their constructions. I was stunned by such an answer since it was a demonstration that there is much still to be found in Sepharad. The museum is called MUHBA (Museum of History of Barcelona) and is under the Plaza del Rei (King's Square), part of the Cathedral and other areas under the current city. I share the photos of when the square was discovered in 1936, a current photo of the square and the photos of the inscriptions of the stones of the walls. Only one of them is inside the museum where it indicates that it was a gravestone. I hope you like it.
