# NAJMA, Nos Ancêtres Juifs Marocains et AlgériensCe groupe existe depuis deux ans seulement et nous sommes déjà plus de 3600 adhérents qui avons tous œuvré à l’arbre généalogique des juifs marocains (et algériens) sur Geni (geni.com). Grâce à vous, cet arbre contient aujourd’hui près de 350.000 profils. Il nous a semblé important de formaliser ce succès par la création d’une association de généalogie : ***NAJMA, Nos Ancêtres Juifs Marocains et Algériens. ***Les objectifs de ***NAJMA*** : 1. Réunir les personnes s’intéressant à notre histoire commune et mettre en commun les données (généalogie classique, généalogie génétique),1. Mener des projets de recherche, notamment sur nos origines ancestrales, notre histoire, la migration au cours du temps, les rites et les coutumes de nos ancêtres,1. Promouvoir et diffuser la généalogie des juifs marocains et algériens, notamment par l’animation de ce groupe, par la publication d’articles (deux articles à paraitre) ou d’ouvrages (une livre en préparation) et par la collaboration avec d’autres associations généalogiques,1.
