**Please support us in 5783 for the preservation of our tradition**Dear everyone,*This group is all about preserving the Sephardic tradition. I would like to ask each and everyone of you to consider giving some of your time, network or funds to the amazing people at the Bendigamos community of Amsterdam.*As you know, at Bendigamos Amsterdam we are doing wonders in bringing people back to Jewish community life. Starting only in 2015, we now have an average of 100+ people on shabbat morning (with an average age of 30!), over a 1000 unique visitors a year and many dozens participating in classes to learn our traditions, tunes, heritage and mindset. We are working with volunteers, and with a small budget. In order to really preserve our tradition, we simply need more support. We need to offer more education, we need more educational events and more community building to succeed in really creating a new generation of S&P chazzanim, teachers, leaders to a community that is large enough to have a bright future. I have been working on this for 20 years and will continue this work with Gods help for at least 30 more years. But from now on, I do need your support. For the first 20 years, from age 15, very few people believed that what I was aiming for was even possible in this day and age in Amsterdam. By now, I have collected the people and credits for making these things happen. Unfortunately, raising funds is not my forte, nor that of our board members and volunteers.And so I ask you, with Rosh Hashanah coming up, please consider supporting Bendigamos. Every contribution can make a difference. Our yearly budget is only €40.000 and our impact is incredible. With a larger budget, we could surely triple in size in a few years and really work towards our vision of the future, hopefully in our own community center.Perhaps contribute your time and help to find donors and subsidies.
