# **Population et démographie juive d’Iligh à partir des épitaphes du cimetière***Iligh est un village situé dans le Sous, à 130 km au Sud d’Agadir. La ville est détruite par Moulay Rachid en 1670 puis repeuplée. Entre 1817 et 1951, entre 100 et 150 familles juives vivent à Iligh.L’étude du cimetière juif révèle 350 tombes. 305 dates de décès ont pu être déchiffrées (141 femmes, 160 hommes, 4 de sexe indéterminé). Les dates des tombes s’étalent sur 200 ans. La tombe la plus ancienne date de 1751 (29 Sevet 5551/24 Février 1751). Il s'agit d'une femme nommée Tana, fille d'Abraham (le nom de famille n'est pas donné). La dernière date de 1955 (14 nisan 5715/6 avril 1955). C'est encore une femme, nommée Hnina, épouse de Yehuda Soussan.Distribution des tombes en fonction de la période:* 1751-1850 : 71* 1851-1916 : 154* 1917-1955 : 80.Il est à noter que de nombreuses familles du Sud du Maroc émigrent à Mogador dans la deuxième moitié du 19e siècle.Un total de 36 patronymes différents apparaît dans le cimetière juif d'Iligh. La plupart est retrouvée dans tout le Maroc et n'est pas spécifique du Sud du Maroc. Certains noms sont typiquement Megorashim.La famille la plus ancienne s'appelle Ohayon. Elle s’est apparemment installée à Ililgh avant 1800.
