There are controversial characters in the history of the Diaspora. In this case it is Lourenço or rather Isaac Lindo. I have debated the sources and the evolution of this very important figure in the founding of the Jewish community in London and also in the relationship with his relatives from whom I am directly descended and who arrived in Caracas Venezuela, being very prominent Catholics at that time. A few days ago, thanks to a spectacular connection with Diane Lyon, who is also descended from Isaac Lindo, she sent me the photograph of Isaac Lindo's grave as he passed through London a few weeks ago. Who else wants to discuss this weighty figure with notable arguments to confirm that Lourenço and Isaac are the same figure or perhaps they are not. Ton has been an ally in this debate for the past few years and it is with his enthusiasm that I am making this post.
