✡️ We remember ✡️Lucille Berro asked me to post the Following pictures. Her mother Sylvia Hasson Berro passed away three years ago at the age of 95. She was the sole survivor out of her entire Rhodes and Kos family, numbering some 60-70 souls and varying in ages from one year to 80+ years old.Sylvia was released from a gas chamber in Auschwitz in crematorium no.4 during the Sonderkommando revolt on October 7th 1944. She was inside with two of he sisters. One was gassed two weeks later and the other perished during the evacuation march from Auschwitz on 18 January, 1945.
