Two years ago I wrote about a controversy which occurred in 1827 in the London S&P between Haham Meldola and Hazzan Almosnino. They debated about instances of 'sheva na' and 'sheva nah.' This past week I found a list of 'sheva na' in the London archives submitted by Rev Meldola to the Mahamad through the gabay M Montefiore in the year 1827!
