**Cimetiere ancien de la Communaute Juive de Tanger. **Philip Abensur and Sidney Pimienta documented what seems to be about two-thirds of the old Jewish Cemetery of Tangier. The remaining missing third are the oldest graves situated at the back of the cemetery overlooking the Mediterranean Sea. Some of the older graves have no names or are simply illegible however there are still a fair amount which are so further documentation is possible and needed. Please let us know if you find your relatives on the lists in the attached photos, the numbers by the names correspond to the grave locations on the map. I will work on putting these names into a searchable Excel sheet.
