Long shot, but here goes. Do we have any members of the group who grew up in the Mellah of Casablanca? I am looking for details about a lady who lived on Boutouil, in front of the old Jewish Cemetery. Her name was Awali (possibly also known as Alia), she had a daughter named Sarah, possibly born in the 1940s. They made Aliyah to Israel in the 1950s.Unfortunately I do not know her surname, she might have had a son too. If this rings a bell to anyone or you know her surname etc. Please let me know.
