Born on Jan 10th 1893 in Rhodes, died on May 13th 1980, Mill Valley CA "Chikera": A Turkish word for beautiful blue eyesHer parents were Isaac AVZARADEL and Regina "Reina" MENASHE Her Siblings were Avram , Ora, Rosa, Flora, andCharlie, who also had beautiful blue eyes. Isaac, Regina & Ora deceased 1901-1902Flora was orphaned at the age of nine. She went to the US in 1919 and stayed with ISRAEL cousins in Portland. She later moved to Seattle WA, and worked in a chocolate factory. At a coffee shop, she met Leon HANNAN, also from Rhodes. They were married three days later on June 23, 1923, and they hopped on a train to San Francisco.Their daughters: Reggie was born Aug 5th 1924 in San Francisco, and years later, in Dec 19, 1933, Julia HANNAN FRIEDMAN , in Los Angeles.Julie Hanan Friedman
