Haim AMATO, 1901 Rhodes – 1973 New York.I could not link him to any AMATO family. Anyone can tell us more?He was the son of Nissim AMATO and Mazaltov TOURIEL. Two known siblings who moved to Israel: Salvatore and Sarah. Sarah "Sarina" Amato was born in 1915 and died on May 21st 1998 and was buried in Jerusalem. Salvatore (Yehoshua) died on January 4th 1949, also buried in Jerusalem. Their mother may have died on August 15th 1948, but I can't be sure 100%, not enough data from the tombstone.
