It seems that the entire family had immigrated by 1939. In May 1942 she was married to Joseph GUERON, who fell in the line of duty during his service in WWII on August 21st 1944, in Brest, Bretagne, France. He was reported to have been born in Bloomburg Village, Dauphin County, Pennsylvania. However, Emilia's petition states Hungary as his birthplace, while the draft card he completed and signed lists Bulgaria. Despite these discrepancies, all documents share the same date of birth, confirming that they refer to the same person.
