Hello everyone. I was hoping someone with better knowledge of the inner workings of the Amsterdam PJC could assist here. I have attached two images from 1718. The first image appears to show the admission of an Isaac Robles to the Sedaca rolls. The second image is a resolution permitting an Isaac Robles the mitzvah of carrying the Torah (thank you Noa Ramos). Assuming these are the same Isaac Robleses (they likely are), was the resolution authorizing him to carry the Torah necessary because he was not a finta-paying member of the PJC and was not otherwise entitled to the honor?
