Hello everyone. I was hoping that someone might be able to assist with this 1750 ketubah from Suriname (image and link follow). According to the Suriname PJC index for the ketubot, the couple is Jahacob Touro and Rachel de Jacob de Robles. There is no identification of Jahacob’s father. According to the couple’s marriage declaration (image and link follow), Jahacob was born in Amsterdam and Rachel was assisted by David de Robles. Do these documents contain anymore genealogical information (such as a notary or Jahacob’s father)? I think David is Rachel’s brother, but I cannot make that out in the declaration.
