Hello. I have attached a 2-page 1758 petition filed in the Surinamese PJC community on behalf of Bienvenida, widow of Semuel Cohen Delmonte. I was hoping someone could take a look at it to see if there is any genealogically relevant information (though it may just be a plea for financial support). Bienvenida was likely the daughter of Isaac Nunes de Almeida and Rica Henriques Pimentel (the sister of Manuel/Isaac Henriques Pimentel-mentioned in the recent Sephardic World presentation about the family). If I am correct, Bienvenida was the sister of one of the at least two Mordechay Nunes de Almeidas living in London. One of the Mordechays was the patron of Daniel Lopez Laguna; the other was not. At least one historian has incorrectly identified Bienvenida as the Bienvenida Cohen BELMONTE, who contributed a poem to Lopez Laguna’s "Espejo.” Of course, BELMONTE could have been a misprint in the original Laguna text. This is the link to the petition. Thanks as always. https://www.nationaalarchief.nl/onderzoeken/archief/1.05.11.18/invnr/80/file/NL-HaNA_1.05.11.18_80_0153
