This Thursday's speaker, ***Patricia Murrieta-Flores***, is a world expert and has a talent for explaining complex concepts in simple language. She will discuss the technologies used for her research on early modern Mexico, and offer ideas for how we might proceed.***Patricia Murrieta-Flores*** is Professor and Co-Director of the Digital Humanities Centre at Lancaster University in the UK. She focuses on the application of technologies for the Humanities. Her primary research areas are the development of Artificial Intelligence for the study of Latin American colonial history and the Spatial Humanities.
