You can find this photo of the Codron family in the Rhodes Museum website. It is written about it: "L to R: Giuseppe (Joseph) Codron (1909 – 1927), Rabbi Isaac Cordon’s sister (married last name: Benatar), Rabbi Isaac Codron (died in Auschwitz), Rebecca (Rivka) (nee Franco) (died in Auschwitz) and Shemtov (Santo) Codron (1913 – 1997). From: Cheryl Codron". I have some questions that, maybe, someone in the group may help me with. I have found no trace of Isaac Codron in Yad Vashem or in I Nomi della Shoa website. I know that there are some rhodeslis killed in the shoa with no registry anywhere, is this one of those cases? Second question. According to the 1920 census, Isaac and Rivka had a son, Nissim, born on 1905, that unlike his siblings, doesn't appear in any online tree... almost. I did find a Nissim Isaac Codron, born on the same year, son of Isaac Codron and Bechora Codron. He died in Cape Town on 16 aug 2000, married with Rachel "Raie" Ponter, son of Isaac Codron and Bechora. I don't know if Rivka Codron was the first born, according to my tree, I have only a younger sister, so technically, she was a bechora. Any one has more information about these questions? Thank you in advance!
