Allow me to do this like a mistery game. This is a photo from the Archivio Fondazione CDEC. And it's labeled like this: "1: Matilde Hanan, 2: Clara Soriano, 3: Giacobbe Halfon, 4: Renée Soriano, 5: Leone Maio, 6: Laura Leon, 7: Stella Benveniste ". So the first is Matilde (Mazaltov) Hanan (married Capelluto), b. 1922, and died, if I'm not wrong, in Ontario, Canada on 2011. She survived the Shoah. Next we have Clara Soriano. I couldn't find anyone of that age with that name, but I could find Clara Avzaradel (married Soriano), b. 1924, d. 2016. She also survived. But is it her? Next is Giacobbe Halfon, b. 1922, d. 1944. Next is Renée Soriano. I can't find anyone with that name, born on those dates. But the CDEC says she was Clara's sister, and Clara Avzaradel had a sister called Renée, b. 1926, d. 1944. Clara was a Soriano by marriage, but Renée didn't marry, it seems. Are the Avzaradel sisters in the photo or are they some Soriano sisters that I don't know nothing about? Then, Leon Mayo, b. 1922, d. 1945. Then Laura Leon. I have absolutely no clue who Laura Leon is. Nothing. I've tried Leon by marriage, Eleonoras, Leonoras... nothing. Who is Laura Leon? And finally, Stella Esther Benveniste (married Habib), b. 1921, d. 2011, she also survived. Anyone can help me with the misteries here?
