RabbiKhalifa’s writings were in fact found, and Rabbi Aharonbrought them to be printed. Nevertheless, a storm aroseduring his trip to Amsterdam. Rabbi Aharon survived, but allhis luggage – among which were the works and writings ofRav Khalifa – sunk to the depths of the sea. How regrettablethat they were lost, never to return again
