Since I bought my first talit I always use the 10-5-6-5 knots. But I just realized (didn't know it wasn't the S&P way before) that one of the strings is longer than the others and would like to trim them if it is hallachically correct to do so. Can I do it? How? Do I have to say "leshem kedushat tsitsit" or something similar?
