Sharing this here in the Foundation for the Preservation of the Western Sephardic Tradition since this translation of Friedrich Schiller's ode 'to Joy' was found in the Bibliotheca Rosenthaliana at the Amsterdam University Library and penned with some Sepharadi Hebrew block letters. Unfortunately, neither I nor Dr. Sabine Arndt have been able to attribute the translation. Perhaps someone here though might recognize the handwriting. I've transcribed the original and reorganized the stanzas to be consistent with that of Schiller's ode.
