After speaking to the moderators about Catriel Ceballos's recent post, I have determined what happened:One person in the thread blocked an admin. That admin has been following a policy for several years to remove people who block admins. I understand that other groups have similar policies, the general thinking being that a moderator must be in some kind of normal contact with the people whose disputes they are expected to arbitrate. Separately to this, there is a button with something like "delete all comments" that was pressed accidentally at the time the blocker was removed from the group. This was a simple error that is unrelated to the overall issues in play. Personally I suggest pressing reset on this by allowing her reinstatement to stand, with a reminder that blocking admins is a totally reasonable cause for anyone to be removed from the group. Let's let the past post and all activity on it be bygones and proceed on that basis.Finally, I remind the members of the "Foundation" group that the expected group culture here is one of civility. I think we can be mature enough to allow for intellectual disagreement without name-calling or cursing. For those who have an issue with this, please direct your participation to the "Debate" group.
