Finally a book dealing with the history of the Nice community. Unfortunately it deals with just a short period, but it's an interesting read. What really disappointed me personally is that the synagogues are barely mentioned. In a footnote it is mentioned that the rue Deloye synagogue was inaugurated in 1886, but other than that the synagogues are just mentioned in passing with no detail on construction dates, locations, etc.
