[Not entirely on topic, but not off topic either]Any tips for helping kids learn how to pronounce Hebrew somewhat competently? My daughter goes to an MO Ashkenazi school (there are no Sephardi schools of any kind in the area). They claim to use Israeli Hebrew, by which they mean they don't teach the "sof." But everything else sounds awful. I can forgive not distinguishing the ayin (most Israelis don't). But the accent is wrong. The stress on words is wrong. They use the American "R" (probably because the teachers don't know either the Modern Hebrew or Spanish R). I'm not a snob, or even a competent Hebrew speaker. But I cringe when I hear her teachers speak. . . and my daughter is picking up the same bad habits.
