Surprise + request! All the differences in Spanish between the Amsterdam and London version of the haphtara of 9 AvAs you may know I am working on a digital version of the 9 Av service in the Amsterdam tradition. The printed version has quite a lot of mistakes, also in the Spanish part of the haphtara. I would like to correct them. However, my ancient Spanish is a bit rusty ;) so I first compared it to the London version for inspiration.I can imagine some of you would like to know the differences as well. Well guess what: I have attached for all of you a list of all the differences between the Amsterdam and London versions. A couple of words were structurally written in a different way, in which case I mentioned them only at the beginning (peccados vs pecados).I'd like to hear your take on the differences and please tell me if you can identify more mistakes, that would be amazing!
