I’ve known Ester’s performances since the 2000’s workshop meetings at a nursing home for Shoah survivors, where she lifted up their spirits with songs, and I read books from the elders’ abandoned collection. Concerning the reading, I focused on the translation of his work which tells more about Menasseh Ben Israel than the facts of how great he was. Thanks to Rabbi Yosef Zarnighian, Aaron Kerben, and to those who attended for honoring Menasseh Ben Israel with their presence. It was very nice to reunite once again with music and books.
