Recently in the United States it was proclaimed Sephardic Heritage Week in Washington.This was a national affair and was well organized by a Canadian from Toronto,Yehuda Azoulay. Yehuda is the co-author of the Sephardic Legacy Series which deals with the mizrahim tradition exclusively. I believe Yehuda is a graduate student at Yeshiva University.When I looked at the proceedings of the Nation Convention and heard the many speeches made without any references to the true Spanish-Portuguese history and contribution to America,I felt ill.I found most of the proceedings on this website---www.thelakewoodscoop.com. These people only started showing their face only a hundred years ago in America.
