Thanks to the wonderful efforts of R. Yosef Zarnighian and the Mikveh Israel staff, we have managed to convert a nearly-complete recording of the Mikveh Israel Shabbat morning service into a modern file format. The recording was made on a Sunday in the 1980s, when Rabbi Toledano and the Congregation assembled to do a mock Shabbat service and record it for posterity. It's a genuine gem, and contained more than a few surprises for me. What we've restored so far starts at Nishmat, goes through Mussaf (no Torah/Haftarah), and then contains a few variant melodies at the end. I would like to post on this site, and on the liturgy site, but the files are too large for Facebook to handle. Would someone like to assist? I can share the files.
