This is a group for people who would like to assist in preserving the Western Sephardic/Spanish and Portuguese tradition.There are a few controversial topics that have been a major distraction in the discussions in this group. For this reason we have created a seperate group named "Western Sephardic Debate".In that group we can discuss topics as Rabbinic treatment of conversos, the Kabala controversy, the merits and faults of movements like Shavei Israel.In this group, please keep in mind the goal, which is the Preservation of the Western Sephardic Tradition.(This doesn't mean you can't mention kabala or shavei or conversos, of course. Just don't have those endless debates, that will never be solved and are not the topic of this group.)
