What are some literary sources about women's tefillah in Sepharad? I remember reading many years ago about this, but cannot find the material now, as often happens. What I remember is the basics: there were early morning services of just women, held in synagogues with a hazanit leading services. Some of the women opted for prayer shawls and afterwards the women would come home and wake up the men to go to synagogue for the main service. Google is no help. Where can I learn more
