The S & P Siddur from London doesn't include the Shalom Alechem and Aishet Chayil songs at the Shabbat dinner table. I always felt that there was something wrong with the first song and I am very surprised that maybe I am not the only one who thinks tahat. Is this the "standard" S & P practice? Any variations? When did these songs started to be used in other traditions? Any comments? Thanks for the input.
