Hello!Happy New Year!I wonder if someone can please help me interpret this document found by Jarrett Ross. It is a testimonial of descent for a Torino sephardic Jew called Judah Salamon Melhado b.1720 in Torino (Turin) and died in 1771 in Amsterdam. I have transcribed it as best as I could however there is some calligraphy I cannot understand. I also did a google translate which appears quite confused. Can someone please confirm if the author is claiming - that they are related?- that they are both descended from Joseph Flavius - what the author is talking about between Rome and Sardinia?- what does "e depois de haver corido varios fortunas foraó desterados" mean? - What is the surname of the author? Of course if there is anything else very interesting I’m keen to know it.
