In researching my family a while back I came across an interesting book that had been published in the US on the Belmont Belmont family at that time I had on saved only a few pages as seemed pertinent at the time to my ow research. I just tried to find the pages again but discover that Google has now scanned and OCR'd the book so it is available for all. Names included are the Belmont and Querido familes, Henriquez de Castro, Curiel etc and anyone researching the Amsterdam Sephardic community will find this book a mine of useful information. I did a search to see if anyone else has covered this book and couldn't find any references to it here, nevertheless my apologies if I have duplicated this information.https://archive.org/stream/belmontbelmonte00gottgoog/belmontbelmonte00gottgoog_djvu.txta short extract to give you a flavour of the contents:5425—1665 em 22 de tebet 30 Janeyro naseu outro filho a dito Selomoh Belmonte que sercunsidou a OS 8 dias e Ihe pos y nome Ischek como seu avo de Parte de may el Dio o fassa seu servo sirconsidou Selomoh Curiel em Hamburgo. In the meantime I think I no longer have access to the original (ask me why if you are interested)
