Good morning to all. Would the Jewish communities settle within major cities or in villages and towns?. Are there certain areas / cities / towns families were known for? For example Madrid - perreira?. My ancestors are dutch jews by the name of Ereira and de Rodrigues de Mercado also de Nunes Mendes. Was informed that these are Sephardim families. Would anyone have info or able to point me in the right direction of where to look. Thanks
