We recently had a wonderful thread about a city very dear to me and my research, Salonika. Leon Saltiel, very strongly, has written a commemorative piece on the anniversary of the beginning of the destruction of the cemetery, the ancient necropolis of Jewish Salonika, by the Greeks and their Nazi collaborators.
