.History repeats ................ ;-)In the period 1635-6 a liturgical enquiry, dealing with a particular prayer for rain, was sent from Dutch Brazil to Amsterdam, from where it was relayed to Salonika. Apparently, neither the missive nor the "Responsa", which were both written in Hebrew Script, contained any indication of the identity of the enquirer. Does anybody have a copy of the correspondence or a transcript ? :-) .No período 1635-6, um inquérito litúrgico, tratando de uma oração particular para chuva, foi enviado do Brasil Holandês para Amsterdã, de onde foi retransmitido para Salônica. Aparentemente, nem a missiva nem a "Responsa", ambas escritas em Hebreu, continham qualquer indicação da identidade do investigador. Alguém tem uma cópia da correspondência ou uma transcrição? :-)
