I would love to understand the steps in a Sephardic marriage. In my own thinking, at a superficial level, I have used clan intermarriage in the African context as a comparator.The terms used in the Sephardic marriage process make further understanding difficult. My maternal family became Anglican in the 1800s.Please could someone set out the steps of Sephardic marriage for me. I assume there are clan and familial variations. Both would be interesting.I was married under African customary law.
