I am pleased to share our article on Y-Chromosomal haplogroup, J-Z640. While the crux of the article is focused on ancient origins during the Bronze Age in the Levant, the Jews who belong to this haplogroup all show strong evidence for entry into Europe via Iberia during the era of al-Andalus. Consequently, there is predicted evidence of other subclades of Z640 entering Iberia with the Arabs so for both, we have evidence of the population flow.We'll be publishing an article on Avotaynu Online soon, going into further detail about the Jewish connections and how it can shed light on history and genealogies.
