Moadim lesimha, just before Chag Charles Dahan passed. I remember him as the one who beautifully read Haftara in the Amsterdam Snoge and who knew Elias Harrus back in Morocco, when the late Elias Harrus was still délégué de l’Alliance Israelite overthere. In fact Charles told me he owed a lot to Elias who saved his life. Elias was the photographer of Jewish Life in the Anti-Atlas in the 1950's. Moreover he was or became areal snogeiro and great supporter of the Amsterdam MInjan for many years.
