Dear friends. I would like to take this moment and thank Aron Hasson, Carmen Cohen and all the rest for keeping the memories of our families alive. Special thanks to Sammy Modiano for joining this special event once again although his old age. Sammy Modiano’s grandfather Yaacov Franco and my great grandfather Perahia Franco were brothers.This was my first time in Rodos joining the 80 years of deportation events and it was so emotional.
