Saw this today accidentally. Anyone knows the history of this? There is a young man who has a shop on ground floor. I had a chat with him and he told me that he lived near the Kahal Shalom Synagogue. His grandparents escaped to Palestine as refugees when the Germans came to Rhodes. His grandparents returned to Rhodes after the war. The young man told me that he remembers Lucia (survivor) very well. He was 13 at the time.Nice to hear these stories from locals.
