Challenge Week 1: Identify your ancestorsThis week's challenge is to identify parents, grandparents, great-grandparents and other ancestors. Before starting a family tree, you must first know who should compose it. This weekend or Shabbath, cheer up your parents, your grandparents or your old aunt with your presence (or call them) and ask them all the questions below about your ancestors. I know from experience that they will be very happy to answer you!For each ascendant, try to collect as much information as possible (write them down):1. The name (maiden name for women), first name (s) and possibly their nickname if they have one.1. Date of birth (at least, year of birth)1. Place of birth (city, country)1. The surname and given name (s) of the spouse (s)1. The date of marriage and the place of marriage1.
