Hello, I found out that my great great grandparents came from Morocco before moving to Egypt! Their names was Yaacov Sabbagh married to Guenena ‘Jeane’ Hafez.Yaacov had 2 brothers that I knew of called Chaim Sabbagh & Vita (Victor?) Sabbagh. Guenena’s father was called Mayer Hafez & Mother called Henriette Rabha. Do these names seem familiar? I’d love to know more about my Moroccan roots & also find out which area in the Morocco they came from. They would have left the country approximately 1850-1890. Sorry I can’t speak French but hopefully you can translate.
