Hello, hope this finds you all well. I’ve been working on my Benzaquen Family Tree dating back to the 1850s within Tetouan & Fez - on MyHeritage.com - but the more I dig, the more questions come up. By any chance would anyone here have information on the Benzaquen family? My dna matches are all over the world but they mostly have a common ancestor - Massoud Benzaquen supposedly born in Tetouan within the year 1848 and having a 14 Children. But the more I research, the more hints I see that the 14 children most likely have to be divided between two Massouds that were cousins. I can also mention if it helps, that one of Massoud’s brothers was Rabbi Samuel Benzaquen born close to 1836, Married to Gohara Benzaquen, and was the Grandson of another Rabbi Samuel Benzaquen.If you have advice or clues as to where I can find any historical documents from Tetouan, I would greatly and sincerely appreciate your help!
